So much easier to blame Michaƫlle Jean than all the MPs and pundits who threatened brimstone and fire if the government fell to the Coalition. I seriously doubt that as a female, a minority person and a nominee from Quebec married to a former separatist, her and her office could have withstood the resultant outrage, Now, it's convenient to make her the "fall gal" for our collective failure as a nation to withstand an assault against a "father figure".
She was between a rock and a hard place, no doubt about it. I am an equal opportunity satirist tho. I look forward to making fun of IgnANTieff and LaytANT when the opportunity arises.
